SHARP NINJA STYLING
Sleek bodywork includes a sharp front cowl with a strong resemblance to Kawasaki's Ninja supersport models. The aggressive visage is complemented by LED headlights and slim, close-fitting bodywork designed to give the bike a light, nimble image that reflects its sporty performance.
WINDSHIELD
Contributing to the Ninja 650's sporty appearance, the low windshield is flush-fit with the upper cowl. Its upright angle maintains sufficient wind protection for a comfortable ride when speeds pick up.

LIGHTS
Twin LED headlights, each featuring low and high beam as well as a position lamp, cast a bright light while contributing to a strong Ninja family looks. At the rear, an LED taillight lights up in an "X" pattern, contributing to the sporty image.
BODYWORK
Hooks are used instead of fairing bolts, creating a clean, smooth surface for a high-class appeal.
SPORTY RIDING EXCITEMENT
Superbly balanced and extremely exciting, the Ninja 650 offers sporty riding excitement thanks to a responsive, torqueful engine character and nimble lightweight chassis.
ENGINE
Tuning of the 649 cc Parallel Twin engine focused on achieving a throttle response that balanced a powerful feeling and a quick-revving character. To optimise performance for everyday riding, care was taken to maximise low-mid range torque. When opening the throttle, riders will notice an extremely smooth and powerful engine character that offers both a high level of control when making minute throttle adjustments and a gratifying rush of acceleration in the lower rpm ranges.
HANDLING
Benefitting from a chassis comprised of lightweight components, the Ninja 650 weighs in at 192 kg. Designed using Kawasaki's new in-house analysis technology, the lightweight trellis frame and swingarm were the key to the Ninja 650's ultra-light handling.
SUSPENSION
Horizontal Back-link rear suspension offers a progressive character and delivers a balance of sporty performance and ride comfort. The telescopic front fork is a part of a balanced suspension package, tuned to provide progressive damping with a high level of feedback to the rider.
TYRES
Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres contribute to the sportiest and most enticing ride yet.
CLUTCH
An Assist & Slipper Clutch helps to put the power to the ground while providing an extremely light pull at the lever and reducing rear-wheel chatter during downshifts.
EVERYDAY VERSATILITY
An upright riding position, low seat height, low weight, easy manoeuvrability and manageable power delivery give the Ninja 650 the versatility for daily riding, while its approachable nature welcomes riders of all skill levels.
EASY
The combination of a low 790 mm seat height and a slim chassis that makes it easy to reach the ground enables a wide range of riders to enjoy the Ninja 650 with confidence. The Ninja 650's low weight and low seat height both contribute to manoeuvrability, whether walking beside the bike, or foot peddling in a parking lot. The easy-to-manage engine response and strong low-end torque further facilitate low-speed manoeuvring.
ERGONOMICS
Separate handles contribute to the Ninja 650's relatively upright position. Designed to both inspire rider confidence as well as put the rider in the ideal position for control, the comfortable and natural position is suitable for a wide range of riders.
FRAME
One of the key components to achieving the Ninja 650's light weight (noticeable as soon as the bike is lifted off its side-stand), the trellis frame weighs only 15 kg and contributes significantly to the bike's light, nimble handling.
TECHNOLOGY
TFT colour instrumentation and Bluetooth smartphone connectivity add high-tech elements to the ride and allow you to connect to the Ninja 650, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.

TFT INSTRUMENTATION
4.3" all-digital TFT (thin-film transistor) colour instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance and excellent visibility. The screen's background colour is selectable (black or white), and screen brightness adjusts automatically to suit available light.
SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY
Connect your smartphone via Bluetooth (and through RIDEOLOGY THE APP*) to view your vehicle information, detailed riding log, telephone notifications and general display settings.
*RIDEOLOGY THE APP is not intended for use during vehicle operation. Only use RIDEOLOGY THE APP when the vehicle is not being operated and it is safe to do so.
KTRC (KAWASAKI TRACTION CONTROL)
Kawasaki's advanced traction control system provides both enhanced sport riding performance and the peace of mind under certain conditions to negotiate low-traction surfaces with confidence. Two modes allow riders to adjust settings to suit the riding situation and rider preference.
