POWERFUL AND EFFIECIENT
Internal engine designs, from the lightweight crankshaft and pistons to the wide intake and exhaust ports, focus on producing peak power and delivering strong low to mid range power for quick acceleration.
WORLD SBK INSPIRED
Valve train inspired by Kawasaki's WorldSBK engineers is an example of top level racing technology. Finger-follower valve actuation enables a higher rev limit and more aggressive cam profiles - both contributing to high-rpm performance.
CONTROLLED POWER DELIVERY
47mm electronic throttle valves and 32-bit ECU operate with great precision to provide smooth engine response.
LIGHTWEIGHT AND BALANCED
The titanium alloy exhaust system is heat resistant, lightweight and positioned to create a low center of gravity for effective mass centralization and light handling.
UPDATED NINJA ZX-10R ENGINE
With a powerful 998 cm3, liquid cooled, 4-stroke in In-Line Four updates to the Ninja ZX-10R's powerful engine offers cleaner emissions while maintaining the performance of its predecessor. For the Ninja ZX-10R, a higher rev limit contributes to a wider powerband and increased circuit performance.
AIR-COOLED OIL COOLER
Based on feedback from Kawasaki's WSB race machine, the new air-cooled oil cooler features an independent circuit - a design often seen on high performance models.
NEXT-GENERATION NINJA STYLING
The aerodynamic racer-inspired front cowl, highlighted by compact LED headlights, new Ram Air intake and a taller windshield, is the "face" of the Ninja ZX-10R's next generation Ninja styling.
SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY
The compact new 4.3" all-digital TFT colour instrumentation give the cockpit a high-tech, high-grade appearance. The new meter also offers additional features unavailable on the previous model.
INTEGRATED WINGLETS
Winglets built into the upper cowl generate downforce that helps keep the front wheel on the ground during strong acceleration.
A WINNING POSITION
The Ninja ZX-10R receives improved ergonomics for 2021. Wider handlebar and higher footpeg positions offer a more aggressive riding position, while a new seat design helps riders minimise drag on straightaways when tucked behind the taller windshield.
INTEGRATED RIDING MODES: SPORT, ROAD, RAIN, RIDER (MANUAL)
All-inclusive modes that link S-KTRC and Power Mode allow riders to efficiently set traction control and power delivery to suit a given riding situation
ENHANCED STREET-RIDING EXPERIENCE
For riders who enjoy street riding, features like Electronic Cruise Control, full-colour TFT instrumentation, and being able to access their motorcycle via a smartphone all add to the experience.
HIGH-GRADE SUSPENSION
More circuit settings for the WSB-Developed BFF (Balance Free Fork) and BFRC lite (Balance Free Rear Cushion) shock facilitate front-rear weight transfer, and contribute to light handling.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE BREMBO BRAKE SYSTEM
Dual high-spec Brembo M50 monobloc callipers gripping large, 330 mm discs, specially prepared radial-pump master cylinder delivers next-level braking performance.
LIGHTWEIGHT WHEELS
One of the lightest wheel designs in the market, the Ninja ZX-10R's gravity-cast wheels with their 3-spoke design offer an excellent balance of light weight and rigidity that contributes to edge grip when riding on the track. Bridgestone Battlax Racing Street RS11 tyres finish off the look.
KAWASAKI QUICK SHIFTER
The dual-direction Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) system facilitates acceleration by allowing clutchless upshifts and downshifts while on the track. Designed for more effective sport riding, KQS can also be used on the street when the engine is above 2,500 rpm.
NEXT-LEVEL TECHNOLOGY
The highly advanced, compact IMU enables inertia along 6 Degrees of Freedom to be monitored. Acceleration along longitudinal, transverse and vertical axes plus roll rate and pitch are measured. The yaw rate is calculated by the ECU using Kawasaki's proprietary dynamic modelling software. Kawasaki's dynamic modelling software utilizes the Bosch IMU as a source of input then processes the input to provide electronic rider aides that support the rider's intentions while maintaining seamless performance.
TRACTION CONTROL
Hybrid predictive/feedback-type evolution of the highly sophisticated traction control system helps racers push harder by maximizing acceleration. Five modes enable a greater range of feeling for specific track conditions and riding preferences. Updates to Modes 4 and 5 offer a more rider-friendly characteristic while cornering.
CORNERING MANAGEMENT
Input from the IMU enables cornering management which assists riders in holding their intended line through the corners on the track.
OPTIMAL DAMPING
Specially developed Ohlins electronic steering damper provides just the right amount of damping based on vehicle speed and degree of acceleration or deceleration.
