Triumph Speed 400: Baby Speed Machine or Beginner's Boon?

The Triumph Speed 400 is a fantastic little bike that is perfect for city riding. We invited Peter Vorst to take one for a ride and let us know what he thought.

"I just checked out the Triumph Speed 400 with TeamMoto Motorcycles on YouTube, and let me tell you, this little bike is a city dweller's dream!

First off, it's incredibly light and nimble. Zipping through traffic and maneuvering tight streets is a breeze. The seat height is perfect for shorter riders, and even taller folks like myself shouldn't have any problems.

The engine is a peppy little thing, perfect for getting around town. It's got enough grunt to handle city speeds and keep you zipping along. The suspension is nice and plush, soaking up all those bumps and potholes that city streets love to throw your way. However, Pete from TeamMoto mentioned it might not be ideal for blasting down open roads, especially for heavier riders.

The brakes are more than enough for city riding, and the whole bike comes loaded with goodies like ABS, traction control, and a comfy seat. Plus, the fit and finish are top-notch, especially considering it's built in India.

All in all, the Triumph Speed 400 is a fantastic little city bike. If you're looking for a fun, flickable, and easy-to-manage ride for your daily commute, this Triumph is definitely worth considering. Just keep in mind the suspension limitations if you're a bigger rider or planning on venturing outside the city limits."
