The NEW Ducati Panigale V2 represents a significant milestone in the evolution of Borgo Panigale’s twin-cylinder sport bikes. Unlike its predecessors, it is not based on a larger Superbike model but has been completely redesigned from the ground up. This fresh approach has resulted in the lightest Panigale ever, shedding 17kg compared to the previous version. It retains the sporty DNA and track-ready performance Ducati is known for, while also offering improved comfort, rideability, and everyday usability.
New V2 Engine
Built around Ducati’s signature 90° V-twin architecture, the new V2 introduces an advanced electronic variable timing system that delivers strong torque across the rev range and exceptional top-end performance. With a displacement of 890 cc and Euro 5+ homologation, it sets a new benchmark as the lightest twin-cylinder engine ever produced in Borgo Panigale, weighing just 54.4 kg.
Adjustable Suspension
The standard Panigale V2 features a fully adjustable 43 mm Marzocchi fork at the front and a Kayaba shock at the rear. The Panigale V2 S, equipped with a 43 mm Öhlins NIX30 fork and Öhlins shock, sets the benchmark for suspension in its class.
Benchmark Electronics
Inspired by the Panigale V4, the Panigale V2 boasts advanced electronics that offer riders a high level of control and customisation. Its new 5-inch full-colour TFT display allows real-time adjustment of key systems such as Ducati Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control and Engine Brake even while riding. The V2 also comes standard with the latest Ducati Quick Shift 2.0 system for seamless gear changes.
Brakes
The Panigale V2 is fitted with Brembo M50 callipers, delivering outstanding track performance and excellent control on the road. The radial front brake master cylinder pairs with 320 mm front brake discs and a 245 mm disc at the rear. Coloured callipers, available as an accessory, add a personalised touch to the bike’s aesthetic.
Thermal Comfort
Thanks to the new design of the Panigale V2 passive ventilation ducts, airflow is optimised in reducing heat while riding. This thoughtful solution enhances the riding experience by maintaining a comfortable temperature even on the hottest days.
Modern Racing Ergonomics
The Panigale V2 features a modern ergonomic triangle, with a minimal seat-to-handlebar height difference that provides optimal front-end feel without overloading the arms. This translates to an improved rider comfort and elevates track performance. High-set footpegs allow for aggressive lean angles while offering comfort even during everyday use.
