Getting Down and Dirty With TeamMoto’s Off-Road Staff Training Day
At TeamMoto, we're more than just motorcycle dealerships — we're passionate riders, dedicated experts, and committed to delivering the best experience possible for our customers. That’s why we recently held our Off-Road Staff Training Days at Queensland Moto Park — an immersive, hands-on event designed to give our sales teams real-world experience on the dirt so they can better connect with the riders who walk into our stores every day.
Over two action-packed days, our team members from across South East Queensland hit the tracks to test the latest off-road models from a wide range of leading manufacturers. From experienced riders to first-timers, our staff had the opportunity to ride a variety of bikes and get a genuine feel for what sets each one apart. This was a critical part of the experience — because nothing beats first-hand knowledge when it comes to helping customers make the right choice for their riding style and goals.
We also ran product presentations with the support of our manufacturer partners, who delivered fast, focused overviews in the morning and detailed feature highlights at the trackside just before the rides. This gave our staff the chance to see and feel those differences in real time — a unique experience that no spec sheet or brochure can replicate.
Safety was front and centre throughout the event, with dedicated riding tracks based on skill level, full gear requirements, and sweep riders monitoring each session. From grass loops for beginners to natural terrain MX tracks for seasoned riders, everyone had a space to learn and push their limits.
The sessions were supported with on-site refreshments, lunch at the café, and post-ride debriefs, including a "Road to a Sale" session designed to help our teams better structure off-road sales conversations and upsell gear, accessories, and modifications.
