The 2024 FX HO WaveRunner now comes with Yamaha’s all-new 1.9 Litre High Output marine engine and an upgraded 7-inch (formerly 5-inch) touchscreen, delivering a little bit of luxury and high-end performance, in a highly versatile and practical watercraft.
This model has proven very popular as a fishing platform due to its excellent stability and fuel efficiency. The sturdy and responsive hull and deck provides superb stability and handling in all conditions, while the new larger capacity 1.9 Litre engine, which replaces the former 1.8 Litre High Output marine engine, delivers quicker and smoother acceleration and higher top-end speed.
The FX HO features a new 7-inch infotainment system with a glass colour touchscreen and built-in GPS system*, premium factory-installed audio speakers with smartphone integration, additional Drive Controls with Auto Trim, a large glove box with a built-in light, USB and 12 volt charging ports, a streamlined tilting handlebar with tie hooks, and an extremely comfortable and dry ride.
All FX Series WaveRunners come with pre-drilled holes for easy installation of Yamaha's exclusive RecDeck platform, allowing you to connect JetFish and lounge accessory packages for more on-water action and versatility.

NATURALLY ASPIRATED 1.9 LITRE HIGH OUTPUT ENGINE
This new 1898cc, four-stroke, four-cylinder, 16-valve High Output Yamaha marine engine and 155mm high-pressure jet pump, replaces the 1812cc High Output motor that powered the previous year's HO model. This more powerful engine provides quicker and smoother acceleration and a higher top-end speed.
OPEN LOOP COOLING SYSTEM
All Yamaha WaveRunners utilise open loop cooling, which is used by 99% of marine manufacturers. Open loop systems have been proven to be the most effective, reliable and maintenance free solution for marine environments, which means lower cost of ownership and less time off the water
ALL-NEW INTEGRATED GPS SYSTEM
The all-new built-in GPS system* allows you to add and follow waypoints; create, record and save tracks; and accurately track your speed. For extra safety, the geofencing feature allows you to set a virtual boundary for learner riders, alerting the rider when they have gone beyond the set boundary. *Maps sold separately.

LARGE 7" TOUCH SCREEN
The 2024 FX HO now comes with a larger 7-inch (was 5-inch) glass touch screen, with increased brightness and visibility; new screen and audio touch pad controls; GPS functionality*; all-in-one Bluetooth phone, text, voice activation and music connectivity; and enhanced Auto Trim, top speed and acceleration settings.Â
MULTI-MOUNT CAPABILITY
All FX models come with a multi-mount base (only) allowing you to connect action cameras, fish-finders and other devices, using third-party multi-mount connection systems (Purchased separately. Overseas mounting system shown).
TOW HOOK
For additional on-water thrills and spills, this watercraft comes with a strong tow hook allowing for the secure towing of inflatable tubes, wake boarders or skiers. *Previous year model shown
CRUISE ASSIST AND NO WAKE MODE
Cruise Assist allows the rider to set a consistent engine speed, helping to reduce throttle fatigue, improve fuel efficiency and help make longer trips more comfortable. 3 No Wake Mode settings cap the engine's RPMs at an optimum idle speed, for travelling through no-wake zones and other restricted areas.
ELECTRONIC TRIM
The electronic trim system allows the rider to quickly adjust how high or low the bow sits in the water, improving the crafts overall handling and on-water performance. This system can be engaged for improved cornering, carrying multiple passengers, towing or in rough conditions.
LARGE EXTENDED SWIM PLATFORM
Roomy and comfortable, the large extended rear platform is the ideal place for soaking up the surroundings, getting in and out of the water or simply doing nothing at all. The decking platform is fitted with two-tone Hydro-Turf mats for optimum looks, grip and comfort. *Prior year colour shown.
MASSIVE 168 LITRE STORAGE
The FX Series WaveRunners come with a massive 168 litres of storage. This includes a larger and fully watertight glove box, under-seat storage bucket, rear stern rope storage and enlarged storage area under the front hood.
