PROGRAMMED FUEL INJECTION
Thanks to Honda Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) featuring a 40mm throttle body allows the fuel mapping to instantaneously adjust to any riding condition. The Pioneer 700 range not only ensures trouble-free operation in the cold at varying altitudes, it reduces emissions and enhances fuel efficiency.
ADJUSTABLE PRELOAD REAR SHOCKS
You don't want to compromise on handling, particularly when towing heavy loads and with the Pioneer 700's preload rear shocks, you don't have to. In addition to a fully independent rear suspension, the rear shocks feature preload adjustability to handle the Pioneer's generous load capabilities, Honda's Pioneer is ready for the toughest work.
RUGGED 675CC LIQUID-COOLED ENGINE
Power to go further and to keep on going, that's what the OHV liquid-cooled 675cc four-stroke engine of the Pioneer 700 delivers. Rubber-mounted for less cabin vibration and longitudinally mounted to allow direct driveshaft alignment to wheels for few frictional losses. Orienteering the crankshaft front to back in the chassis, flow of power drives straight to the wheels without any right-angle detours, reducing powertrain friction, putting more grunt into the ground. Fuel-injected for reliable starts and performance in inclement weather.
INDEPENDENT FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION
The independent double-wishbone front suspension features dual-rate springs for smooth riding, superior handling, and all-day comfort. With 200mm of travel, you can navigate the kind of rocky, rutted, and uneven territory other side-by-sides can't. The fully-independent rear suspension features a dual-rate spring that boasts 230mm of travel, so even when loaded to the max, you're assured predictable handling performance.
HARD ROOF AND TOW HITCH PLUS TOW BALL
Standard on the Pioneer 700 range. Providing outstanding weather protection. It is designed to fit over the cabin utilizing Honda's Tool-Less clamping system for quick installation & removal. Compatible with all Honda Accessory windscreens. Tow hitch and ball are also standard.
CARGO BED CAPACITY
In many ways, this isn't a just side-by-side. It's a solution. Take the cargo bed-the capacity is among the tops in the industry (408kg for 700-2 and 454kg for 700-4) It's strong and durable too so you can carry more cargo in fewer trips, saving you time. Now that's smart.
HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES
Mud, turf, gravel - handle every bit of it with confidence and stop confidence. Our hydraulic disc brakes feature a patented scraper system that helps prevent debris buildup between caliper and rim. 200mm discs in the front, 170mm inboard-mounted disc in the rear deliver great stopping power.
450-WATT POWER CAPACITY
Every component on the Pioneer 700 is engineered to perform at the highest level. The alternator is no different-with 450-watts, it has plenty of power for everyday use and has enough left over for accessories that help you work easier, like winches, light bars and more. Always consult accessory instructions for specific power requirements.
ELECTRIC POWER STEERING
When you're driving off-road, power steering can be a big help, especially in rocky terrain, on sidehills, or over logs and ruts. Honda's EPS is one of the best: there are no belts or pumps to slip, break or leak. Both speed and torque-sensitive, Honda's Electric Power Steering (EPS) also excels at reducing steering effort and kickback through the steering wheel. A specially engineered mounting system for the EPS unit increases strength and rigidity.

The hand brake is conveniently mounted to the dash to activate secure holding of your vehicle.
AT/MT MODE & PADDLE SHIFTERS
You can let the automatic transmission shift for you, or you can take charge and choose which gear you want for yourself via the steering column mounted paddle shifters - you can even shift from auto to manual (AT to MT) on the fly.

AUTOMOTIVE-STYLE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
A vehicle this versatile demands a transmission that's ready for anything. With a heavy-duty torque converter and three hydraulic clutches, three forward gears and reverse eliminates the need for unreliable drive belts. You get a steady stream of power and engine braking plus an override mode for manual operation on the fly utilising the convenient paddle shifters mounted to the steering column. This automatic style transmission is a fully sealed component too so it offers ultra-smooth gear shifting. Meanwhile, the two-stage shift map further optimizes power and torque delivery, even at higher RPM ranges.
680KY TOWING CAPACITY
Sometimes you need to tow things, so we gave the Pioneer 700s a robust 680kg towing capacity - strong enough to handle some of those jobs you'd normally use a tractor for.
QUICKFLIP SEATING SYSTEM
Versatility is the defining feature of the Pioneer 700-4 and nothing illustrates that better than our industry-exclusive QuickFlip seating system. Switch between 2-person mode with full cargo and tilt bed functionality, to 3-person mode, to 4. Seats lay flat in the bed and pop up in an instant whenever you need them.

Knowing you're driving a side-by-side built with safety in mind makes the adventure that much more fun. Our hard doors feature a double latching system designed after our autos. They work together with our roll-up side nets, helping to keep the elements outside and you secure inside.
DIGITAL DISPLAY
Full of the information you want. In addition to the standard gear position indicator, speedometer, odometer, trip meter, and hour meter - you get readouts for fuel level, clock, coolant temperature, speed and Honda's "maintenance minder" system (to help remind you when it's time to have your SXS serviced).
DRIVER AND PASSENGER PROTECTION

That's why the Pioneer 700-4 is equipped with an Occupant Protection Structure, using large-diameter tubing and meeting OSHA's rollover protection standard. And in the cabin, integrated handrails, recessed top tubes and automotive-style three-point seatbelts with emergency locking retractors help keep passengers securely in place.
GLOVEBOX
In the cabin, a convenient glovebox holds your essentials and keeps them dry. The water-resistant door helps prevent the elements from getting inside, while the in-dash design provides good storage space, without compromising on passenger legroom.
