The 2017 F4 RC Motul Editon, Performance at its Finest!

The result of a meticulous and continuous evolution that has been applied to the refinement of every detail. The new MV Agusta F4 RC Motul Editon is performance at its finest. Available from TeamMoto MV Agusta now this bike will make you look like a professional rider sitting still! From the Performance all the way to the style and sleek lines give this bike the pedigree of a world Class superbike. don't just stare, make it yours!

The F4 RC can be both enthralling and efficient; the most comprehensive package amongst Hypersports. Elegant and simple, the F4 RC is instantly recognizable with a stunning red and white graphic base as that used on the official version, including sponsor logos. The number “37” embellished on the fairing is a reminder of the constructors World titles won by MV Agusta. Each of the 250 pieces that make up the total production of the new F4 RC, is a real collector’s item accompanied with a valuable racing kit. The classic wood box contains high quality components, specifically designed and built for the racing F4 RC.

In detail: the SC-Project titanium single exit exhaust system has been developed together with the dedicated racing Electronic Control Unit, which forms part of the kit. The single seat tail unit lightens the bike and aesthetically underlines the racing vocation. The fuel cap and mirror inserts that allow the user to remove the mirrors for track use are machined in ergal aluminium 7075 providing functional value and enriching further a bike that has redefined the Hypersports category. The under tailpiece exhaust shroud is manufactured in carbon fiber, to assist heat transmission with the minimum weight. The personalized protective bike cover and Certificate of Authentication make the F4 RC even more exclusive.

ENGINE
Performance is also reflected in the numbers: 151 kW, equivalent to 205 hp maximum power in road configuration. A fact that makes the RC Superbike the most powerful in its class within series production. With the racing kit the performance increases to 212 hp (158 kW) at 13600 rpm measured at the crankshaft, the F4 RC in track configuration marks the latest evolution within the extraordinary development of the in-line 4-cylinder MV Agusta known as ‘Corsa Corta’ (79×50,9 mm) enhanced with unique technical solutions such as a central distribution chain and radial valve layout.

FRAME & SUSPENSION
The choice of chassis solution from the outset of the F4 has defined an era thanks to the synthesis between the technical benefits of construction solutions and assembly. The TIG welded trellis CrMo steel tubes are undoubtedly essential and in some respects even ‘classic’ but the mechanical characteristics offer peak performance. The aluminum alloy plates close the rear frame structure and form the fulcrum for the single arm, with the possibility to change height allowing full customization of the riding dynamics. Racing suspension completes the package of absolute excellence: the Ohlins fork USD NIX type 30 with TiN surface treatment has separate hydraulic compression adjustment (left leg) and rebound damping (right leg); spring preload is also permitted. The Ohlins TTX 36 shock with piggy-back reservoir offers the same parameters of adjustment as the fork through convenient manual mechanical adjusters. Included is also a precisely engineered steering damper with manual adjustment.

Honda's CBR1000RR and CMX Rebel In Store Now!

Riding is a unique lifestyle that offers up different riding solutions to suit each indivdual and now Honda offers up two uniquely individual riding experiences that are now in store at TeamMoto.

For some Speed is key to their way of life and the CBR1000RR will not shy away from the hard hitting experienced riders. Breed to be ready for any track day that comes it's way! Three factors are key to the essence of the new CBR1000RR Fire blade: less weight, more power, and electronics to help the rider wherever and however they're riding. The new electronic control system provides constant, selectable and fine-tunable rider support. It works the Honda Selectable Torque Control system (HSTC) that precisely manages rear wheel traction via the FIECU and Throttle By Wire (TBW). The new ABS braking (also managed by the IMU) offers Rear Lift Control (RLC) and the ability for hard, safe trail braking into corners.

Ninety percent of the main components have been changed in a relentless search for incremental weight reduction in every area.

The engine revs harder and higher, with a much higher compression ratio and revised cam timing, and uses the TBW (a first for an inline four-cylinder Honda) and Accelerator Position Sensor (APS) also developed for use on the RC213VS. Thanks to the use of magnesium and careful assessment and lightening of individual parts the engine also carries 2kg less. The new titanium exhaust muffler saves weight and aids mass centralisation. Overall the Fire blade is a full 15kg lighter than the outgoing model, with a wet weight of 196kg.

For others, they find their enjoyment in a more relaxed position... Looking to enjoy a cruise to any destination in comfort and style. Honda's latest LAMs approved option offers everything a rider ready to cruise is looking for. While offering the same power from it's 500cc brothers with the same engine built around the idea of a more laid back riding position. The CMX is a progressive new custom bobber that fuses tradition with ground breaking new ideas and perspectives while offering ample scope for owner customisation.

The new CMX is simple and raw but don't let the minimalistic design fool you; it is a Honda after all and every tiny detail matters. The low, lean silhouette is crowned by an iconic fuel tank, aggressively raked front end and fat 16 inch tyres on large diameter wheels. The stamped steel rear fender and narrow frame body result in a stripped form expressing offbeat individuality from every angle.

The evocative round headlight sits up high in a die-cast aluminium mount, the speedometer is a compact dial with negative LCD display and blue backlight. The ignition is housed below the left side of the fuel tank and everything that can be is blacked out.

Yamaha topping the tables at Aus MX

Yamaha Racing continued its impressive start to the 2017 MX Nationals campaign after round four of the of the MX Nationals.

'When the going gets tough, the tough get going' and CDR Yamaha's Dean Ferris certainly lived up to that old chestnut when he turned in his most impressive performance to date, dominating round four of the MX Nationals in a mud-laden, rut infested, Horsham motocross track.

With a track sodden with lead up rain, making it one of the hardest and most challenging tracks of recent times, Ferris was simply a cut above his rivals on Sunday taking his fourth consecutive round win and extending his lead in the premier MX1 division.

Yamalube Yamaha Racing's Cody Dyce continues to lead the 2017 MXD Championship after finishing in second at round four of the MX Nationals held on a wet, rutted and challenging Horsham circuit, in Victoria.

On a track that many riders had trouble circulating, the 16-year-old Victorian rider was able to deal with the conditions and finish on the podium. Dyce also had his fair share of issues on the muddy, clay based track that made bikes extremely heavily and difficult to ride over the length of a race but Dyce continued to battle on and now holds a 14-point lead in the championship at the half way point of the MXD series.

The thick, sticky mud at the clay based Horsham motocross circuit, tossed up all sorts of challenges for the Serco Yamaha duo of Mitch Evans and Jackson Richardson but despite the rough day, both remain firmly in contention for the MX2 championship, siting second and third respectively.

On a day that most riders clicked into survival mode to just circulate the difficult conditons, both Serco Yamaha riders fell from their machines at critical stages during the day and as a result, weren't able to cash in on their good speed.

MX2 rookie, Mitch Evans carried the points leaders red plate into the round after some sensational racing at rounds two and three. Evans was confident in the mud as he had previously done well in wet conditions but the day ay Horsham proved unlike anything he had raced before.
